Mine was relegated to the toolbox for lubricating screws (which it's ok at, although not as good as a bar of regular soap - but the tub keeps the rest of the toolbox soap free) about 6 years ago - about a week after I gave it a go. I need to find more as I am about out of my last stick, and its the only soap I have been able to use in the last year. The brand changed hands few times in the last few years but the dish stayed good and the stick as you find is a bit of a hand soap. I experimented the next few days with adding just a bit more water to the lather and that stopped the drying out I saw. Otherwise if you can't find the Erasmic stick that works for you then there are some unscented soaps worth having a look at, which aside from the ones mentioned here include Stirling (they have a few), and Signature Soaps Goat Milk.Erasmic is the only soap I have found in years that has a scent I can tolerate, and that dissipates fast.
