About this deal

I am relieved to finally know the solution and to know that I must indeed proceed with the sawing 🪚

Added CAR LINK software which supports Android Auto via wired connection and Car Play via wired and wireless connection. Please note that CARPLAY only supports this feature on CC3 devices released in 2021. Android Auto has no limits. For CARPLAY wired connection, you must use the original iPhone USB cable. When using CARPLAY wirelessly, make sure the mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth.Okay I’m considering returning this now and going for the Teyes unit. It’s just slow and the steering controls seem to not work and now my cruise control isn’t working although it may be my bad wheel bearing speed sensor it’s just too slow. It’s like a 4 core 1.4ghz or something and only 2gn ram so I’m hoping the cc3 unit will be fast enough to actually use the multitasking features of the tablet

With a file that large, it should be faster over WiFi on 5Ghz band if you can connect to either your home router or even to a phone on 5 Ghz band and use a wifi capable file manager.

Video's of Teyes Malaysia for settings CC3 in English : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0R6aqLJ7mIoEWfql87jnnw/videos Notice that there is also a CC2 plus and a Spro plus, that have more or less the same specifications. Figured this out. Im using iPhone so its a two step process that wasnt completely obvious on either device:

I tried all the afternoon and the evening up to night in the car to push and deform the dashboard above the HU very hard using flat knifes, a painter's scraper, trim tools… to no avail. Pushing the trim at the maximum, the fascia is still too high by about 5 millimeters and it won't clic. At the bottom, it is about 1.2 cm above the curved plastic part above the AC controls that is normally flush with the fascia. I ended up finding how to access Engineer Mode via our Russian friends at 4pda.to. It involves opening the calculator app and entering a secret code (too afraid to link it since it's easy to permanently screw up you unit but if you search, you'll find it). Regardless, this was not helpful as there's no microphone level setting in there (also confirmed by people on 4pda.to). Maybe there's another secret settings menu I'm not aware of via Phone app?Updated EQ software and added a phase switch. The volume and sound effects of the subwoofer change according to the volume of the head unit. Added multi-finger touch control function. To find out how to use this feature, please see the personal settings section. Desoldering isn't necessary. There's instructions somewhere in this thread to tape the 2 mic pins on the ribbon cable. I just desoldered to be extra sure. The system version has been updated. Fixed the issue of crashing the Google Play app in some areas. In the device settings, a function has been added to change the screen brightness depending on the time of sunrise and sunset.
