Fans in attendance at today’s Superman panel at New York Comic Con were treated to an hour of discussion and news around the Last Son of Krypton from some of the biggest names in comics. Nrama: In many ways, so many of the core, iconic DC heroes have become patriarchs - Batman-Bruce, Barry (and even Wally), Arthur, Hal (albeit in a more militarized way). And, of course, the Wonder Woman family has expanded even if Diana isn't quite the matriarch (yet). And the final story in Action Comicsfeatures Power Girls return in part one of a three-part story by Leah Williams and Marguerite Sauvage spinning out of Lazarus Planet. Action Comics#1051 will be available at local comic shops on January 24, 2023. Home Again, Part One" takes place after the story " The Life of Superman" from The Death of Superman 30th Anniversary Special #1.

Action Comics #1051 Main Cover by Dan Mora, Superman #1 Cover by Jamal Campbell, Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #1 Variant by Rafa Sarmento)All in all this book wasn't a must-read, but it wasn't a total waste either. It's the start of a new direction I'm not very impressed by, but it's better than anything I've seen in the Superman books in the last 4 years. But then that's not saying much ether. I won't recommend against getting it, but I can't recommend it to non-regular readers either. It's my first experience with Dawn of Dc, and so far I'm not impressed. If they expect reactions to it to be of a Rebirth proportion I have a feeling they'll be sorely disappointed. Because when comparing the quality of this to Rebirth, It's only tepid. Lukewarm at best. In this story, Perry White almost died after discovering that Clark is Superman but, in that story, he was both surprised and proud of him after hearing the truth. Superman originally revealed his identity during the events of Superman (Volume 5) #18 before the rebirth of the Multiverse. Cover image for 1122DC082 Action Comics #1051 Jorge Fornes Cover, by (W) Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Dan Jurgens, Leah Williams (A) Rafa Sandoval, Lee Weeks, Marguerite Sauvage (CA) Jorge Fornes, in stores Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from DC Comics Alongside this arc, Dan Jurgens and Lee Weeks will follow young Jon Kent on the farm with his parents as he learns about his powers and battles Doombreaker in 'Lois and Clark 2: Doom Rising.'

So we've always kind of accustomed to seeing Metallo as essentially a Terminator. And now, starting with Action #1051 going forward, he's a Cronenberg movie monster. You're going to see that transformation start very soon. Then, in Lois and Clark 2: Doom Rising, Dan Jurgens and Lee Weeks return to tell the tale of young Jon Kent on the farm with his parents, learning about his abilities, coming of age…and battling the Doombreaker?! Then, in “ Lois and Clark 2: Doom Rising,” Dan Jurgens and Lee Weeks return to tell the tale of young Jon Kent on the farm with his parents, learning about his abilities, coming of age… and battling the Doombreaker?! Clark rushes him to hospital, where the doctors examine him and determine he has had a stroke. Lois wonders what could have caused it, and why Perry didn't seem to know that Clark and Jon were the Supermen. Clark suddenly hears a loud and painful signal. He flies to the source, Lex Luthor's office at the top of LexCorp tower, where Luthor is waiting. He tells Clark that he has come to begrudgingly accept that the world needs Superman and offers to work together for the good of humanity, showing him a new LexCorp branded costume he wants Superman to wear; but also says that Superman can only be truly effective as a symbol if people view him as a god, not a man, and nobody can know he is Clark Kent.

DC Universe Infinite gets Ultra tier offering new comics one month after release

Jurgens and Weeks will explore a tale of young Jon Kent on the farm with his parents, learning about his abilities, coming of age and battling the Doombreaker. Yikes! We're going to see a new villain or two, but we're also going to see really fun, dangerous, threatening, complicated takes on Superman's most iconic Rogues' Gallery. The New Era of Superman Starts This January Action Comics To Feature Three Epic Stories of Superman and the Super-Family by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Dan Jurgens and Leah Williams Superman On-Going Monthly Series by Joshua Williamson & Jamal Campbell to Begin in February Jon Kent Takes on Ultraman inAdventures of Superman: Jon Kent from Tom Taylor and Clayton Henry in Early 2023 After the darkness of the last year in the DCU, there is no character better suited to lead DC into the light than Superman," says Joshua Williamson, who is of course referring to the "darkness" of his own Dark Crisis event series. Despite having several moving parts, Speeding Bullets never feels rushed or crowded, and there is plenty of character beats to keep things interesting and personal, including one moment that will probably haunt Jon Kent’s nightmares for years to come (cough). Overall, it’s a strong base upon which to build the future of Superman comics… the only thing I’m not sure about is the matching costumes. Hmm, gotta think about that one.
