Hello Crutchfield, I have a 2018 Jeep Renegade Latitude with OEM Navigation system; Without Beats Audio System. Once the fitting was good I used a heat gun to reseal the foam, so I didn’t have little popcorns always falling off. I think this sub would be awesome in my 14 Ford edge limited, but I think I have a welded spare tire post. There are a lot of pictures below, but I wanted to share as much detail for the mounting configuration solution I devised. We do not have the necessary measurements of the spare wire well in those vehicles to check if this can fit.

Given that its an SUV, it does seem likely that the opening diameter is at least 15" and there should be at least 7. Mounting could probably be done several ways, but i think the spare tire "cavity" is acting like a "box" and it may not act the same if it is out in the open and not "enclosed". I forgot I had read you have to disconnect the Active Noise Cancellation Module(ANC) when you install a sub.

You'll need to run power from the battery ( using a wiring kit like this), and then grab the rear LF signals (I assume you can use the rear deck speaker signals on the sedan and it would sound fine too, but I can't confirm that personally.If you still have your trunk foam inserts, i recommend cutting it so it can still support your trunk floor!

I cut the female plug off and spliced it in near the male plug so I would still have a power plug to charge stuff.
