It is with these settlements that most of the discoveries are connected. Can you count the Rollright stones? Yes, but there is a legend that says they are uncountable! Many say the person who counts them three times and gets the same number will not live! Also, there is another one that says if you count them three times and get the same number your wish will come true.Today, The King’s Stone stands alone in a field overlooking Long Compton and has been barred off to protect it. The labyrinth can be used as a tool and there are many ways to approach it. One simple way is to use it to help make wise choices by concentrating on a question as one walks the labyrinth. This helps prime the subconscious to generate creative answers. Of course, it should be remembered that ‘simple’ does not necessarily mean ‘easy’; a method is simple (e.g. hold the question in your mind as you walk the labyrinth), actually managing to do that is something else again. In these days of constant interfacing with devices, the way media interfaces have been designed to be addictive - think dopamine hits as one swipes down like on a one arm bandit - people’s attention and focus is often attenuated.Malone, Caroline (2001). Mr. Manning found that on the average the south Oxfordshire district produced rather less of this type than north Oxfordshire. Mr. I wonder though who Mrs Winifred Williams of a Freeland Primary School was. And why the book is dedicated to her. I bought this from a local bookshop the same day I did The Marrow of the World. Also, the drawings should have been after what was being said, because they spoiled what we haven't even read yet.
